The Diaspora and Antisemitism
The Jewish Diaspora started during the Babylonian era in the year 586 BC when the Kingdom of Judah fell and the first temple was destroyed. Many Jews returned to Isreal after 70 years in captivity when the Persians took power and gave them permission to return and rebuild the Temple and Jerusalem. After the destruction of the Second Temple and the city of Jerusalem by the Romans, in the year 70 AD this trend of diaspora across the known world continued further. Wherever Jews went after that they were persecuted during certain times and were not always welcome everywhere they settled. Because racism against Jews have such a long and persistent history there even arose a term Antisemitism, to describe racism specifically directed at Jews. The Exodus from Egypt
The Exodus of the ancient Israelites from Egypt happened in the year 1406 BC under the leadership of Moses. He gave Israel all its founding principles and laws under the instruction of God. The fact that Jews are still keeping the Sabbath, eating according to Kosher dietary laws and do the circumcision according to the instructions of Moses, is very strong evidence that this event with all its accompanying miraculous acts of God did happen. The Jewish scriptures would not have been accepted by the more than one million Israelites that experienced this event firsthand if it was a false narrative. Take a look at the two archeological videos below concerning parts of the Exodus.
